Assistant plant manager

We are currently seeking an Assistant Plant Manager to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to embrace a new challenge and advance your career within a growing company specializing in sheet metal.

As this position is newly created, various tasks will be introduced gradually. The Assistant Plant Manager will support our Plant Manager and President, be involved in management and manufacturing responsibilities, and actively participate in the hiring process. This role will continuously evolve to accommodate the daily needs of the management team. The primary responsibilities of the Assistant Manager include coordinating plant operations and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations related to labour standards, safety, environmental practices, and corporate guidelines. Flexibility in work schedules during the week is required for this position. Experience in the sheet metal industry is essential.

• Ability to read manufacturing plans
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as vernier callipers, height gauges, and micrometres
• Basic proficiency in MicrosoftOffice 365
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Ability to alternate between factory and office work
