We are currently seeking an IT Assistant to join our Head Office. This role presents a unique opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. They will play a key role in ensuring smooth IT operations by providing essential administrative support and assisting the IT team with day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT equipment and software inventory.
  • Assist with setting up and moving of IT equipment.
  • Assist Help Desk Support with troubleshooting basic connectivity issues and escalating unresolved issues.
  • Assist Help Desk Support with outside technicians for equipment repairs and service as required.
  • Basic IT and AV setup for Boardroom use.
  • Organize and maintain user information lists, documents, and directories.
  • Coordinating courier services as needed to ensure the efficient transport of IT equipment.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed to facilitate the smooth operation of the IT department.

Qualifications

  • College Diploma or equivalent
  • Office experience is considered an asset
  • People-oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently as well as actively as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Able to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in all matters
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
