Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct detailed research and analysis on topics related to labor economics, finance, workplace trends, and collective bargaining.
- Compile, interpret, and present data gathered from various sources to inform decision-making processes.
- Translate complex data, reports, or studies into clear, concise, and accessible information for a wide range of audiences.
- Write research reports, summaries, and other documentation with a particular focus on clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Support the development of materials for public speaking, training events, or educational initiatives on labor-related topics.
- Assist with the preparation of presentations, proposals, and other materials to support key initiatives and projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, union representatives, and stakeholders to align research efforts with organizational goals.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in labor studies, economics, union activities, and public policy to inform organizational strategy.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Labor Studies, Communications , or a related field.Prior experience in research, data analysis, report writing, or project-based work is highly desirable.Skills & Competencies
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).Proven ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and accessible manner, both verbally and in writing.Fluency in French and English (both written and spoken) is strongly preferred.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with union activities, collective bargaining, and / or public speaking or teaching is considered an asset.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
