Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative functions :
- Receiving and processing cheque daily deposits, recording credits to client accounts and keeping clean records for audit
- Printing and mailing cheques
- Receiving and processing certificates deposits
- Monitoring petty cash
- Assist the Branch Administrator in monitoring and clearing up the compliance pending list
Branch functions :
New account documentationAssist Branch Administrator with setups and tech support for branch personnelBack up to the Branch AdministratorAdditional duties as per assignedReception functions :
Receive, greet and direct calls and clientsSort and distribute incoming mailAssist to coordinate branch and client meetings, set up boardroomsAccounts payableOrder office and kitchen supplies and monitor inventoryQualifications
1-3 years working experience in the Finance industryEager to learn new skills and adapt to a changing working environmentAbility to work efficiently, multitask and maintain professionalism in a high-pressure environmentOperations familiarity within the brokerage industryFamiliarity with commonly used programs such as DataphileStrong Microsoft Office Suite skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDetail orientedOrganizational skills
