In Canada, Nors represents Volvo Construction Equipment and other OEMs.THE ROLETo join the Nors IT Department and to lead the IT operations in Canada with a team of up to 10 people, we are looking for an IT Country Manager.Main responsibilities : To manage the team and stakeholders in this geography, and to execute the global strategic plan for IT operations and service management.To supervise all local IT procurement according to the group global guidelines and local demand.He / She will be responsible for the service level and customer satisfaction in the region.To participate – at a managerial level - in relevant projects in the region, where IT plays an active role.To actively participate in the definition of the global IT strategy, as a member of the IT leadership team.Travelling in Canada is required (10%), on a recurrent basis (visiting sites and team across the geography from the east coast – BC – to west coast – GTA).Performs other duties as assigned.Team and Report : The IT Country Manager will lead a team of up to 10 people with a mixed report matrix alligned with Global Heads of Technology.The IT Country Manager itself will be reporting to the Group CIO and will be part of the IT leadership team.Profile : 10+ years of experience in IT positions.Previous experience of 5+ years in an IT leadership position, managing a team of 10+ collaborators.The ideal candidate will come from an IT operation background or from an ERP implementation background, with exposure to complex environments and multiple stakeholders’ management.Exposure to ERP implementation project, as a product owner, functional analyst or programmer. Exposure to e-Emphasys ERP, Infor ERP or SAP S / 4H ERP is a plus.Good understanding of business concepts and process breakdown methodologies.Good communication skills (oral and written).Good analytical judgement and strategical thinking.Good organizational skills (documentation, planning, mitigation).Self-driven objectives’ driven.Fluent in English, French is a plus.Compensation : Annual fixed salary in the range of 130k-150k CAD + bonus + benefits.Location : To be based in 1) Mississauga (GTA), or 2) Vernon (BC) or 3) Calgary (AB),WFH up to 40%
