Options Management Group Inc. ("Options") is a Vancouver-based firm specializing in financial and operational services tailored to businesses, with a core focus on real estate consulting and financial services.
As the BC real estate market evolves, clients are increasingly seeking comprehensive investment solutions. Many Vancouver-based developers are exploring opportunities in other markets, such as other provinces in Canada and the U.S., along with the corresponding corporate structures, portfolio loans, and the logistical and administrative aspects of fund management.
This growing demand presents a significant opportunity for Options to expand its presence over the next five years. To support this, we are seeking a Finance Director to lead strategic planning and establish a new department specializing in financial due diligence for local developers.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in both finance and real estate development, assisting local clients with Asian assets. They will play a key role in structuring round-trip investment arrangements and implementing investment strategies in Canada and the U.S. for both individual and institutional investors in Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic guidance to clients with Asian assets, including structuring round-trip investments and optimizing tax-efficient frameworks in Canada and the U.S.
Work with investment banks in low-tax jurisdictions to maximize tax benefits.
Recruit, train, and lead the finance and accounting team, ensuring accurate reporting and effective internal management. Oversee financial operations, maintain full sets of accounts for development projects, and establish profitability benchmarks and KPI metrics.
Enhance processes to protect client investments, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen internal controls to mitigate risks.
Manage cash flow and budgets to meet project and operational needs. Monitor cost performance through proforma reviews and collaborate with clients to implement value engineering strategies.
Help clients translate strategic goals into actionable initiatives such as acquisitions and M&A. Develop financial models and automation tools to improve productivity and support key decisions through data analysis.
Assess macroeconomic and competitive risks while negotiating with banks, lenders, and investors to structure optimal financial deals aligned with growth objectives.
Be prepared for domestic and international travel, including extended engagements when necessary.
