Are you a Red-Seal Certified Automotive Service Technician looking for an exciting opportunity? Comox Valley Toyota, part of the Trotman Auto Group, is seeking talented individuals like you to join our dynamic and fast-paced Service Department.

About the Role : The Automotive Service Technician contributes to the operational efficiency of the shop by maintaining, repairing and diagnosing automotive vehicles in accordance with Trotman Auto Group and manufacturer guidelines, ensuring that our customer visits meet and exceed expectations.

Schedule :  Full-timeCompensation :  $35-$42 / hour plus Bonus

Who You Are :

Certification : Journeyman with a Valid Red Seal Technician Certification

License : Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.

Skills : Thorough knowledge of technical repairs and procedures, and ability to work efficiently under pressure, consistent flat rater

Strong Communicator : both verbal and written

Customer Experience : Pride in workmanship, confident in your abilities, a desire to exceed customer’s expectations

What Your Day Will Look Like :

Vehicle Maintenance :  Perform maintenance and repairs as assigned.

Diagnosing Issues : Identify the source of malfunctions and determine what repairs or maintenance is needed.

Safety Inspections :  Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required and perform road tests when needed.

Communication :  Clearly explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisors.

Compliance :  Follow provincial and company policies and safety regulations.
