But we’re not stopping there. Our ambition is to take things to the next level by blending digital and physical experiences and creating a thriving community both online and offline. We’re looking for a Head of Social Media & Community who’s eager to plunge into the world of landscape construction, learn the ins and outs of the industry, and connect with the contractor community on a deep level. This role requires someone with a strategic mindset, creative energy, and a genuine desire to immerse themselves in the culture of hardscaping and outdoor design. Your Role

As Head of Social Media & Community, you’ll be responsible for shaping Techo-Bloc’s identity as the coolest hardscape brand in the world. You’ll create and execute strategies that grow our social media following, build a thriving contractor community, and deliver high-impact campaigns that blend digital engagement with real-world experiences. You’ll manage an in-house Video Content Creator, collaborate with the Email and Content Writing Team, and work closely with our Digital Designer and Creative Team to produce compelling content. You’ll also manage our influencer and ambassador program, forging relationships with key voices in the industry to amplify our brand. With direct access to Techo-Bloc’s hardscape experts like Alexandre Cadieux and Paver Pete, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from the best and create content that is both authentic and educational.

Key Responsibilities

Dive into the World of Landscape Construction

  • Commit to learning the ins and outs of hardscaping, understanding contractor pain points, and speaking their language authentically;
  • Collaborate with industry experts to ensure content reflects real-world practices and adds real value to contractors;
  • Build trust with the contractor community by creating content that is insightful, relatable, and directly tied to their day-to-day work;
  • Take Our Community to the Next Level

  • Build on our engaged Instagram following and expand our presence across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook;
  • Create a seamless blend of digital and physical experiences, from social campaigns to in-person events that make the Techo-Bloc community feel real, connected, and dynamic;
  • Develop and lead community-driven initiatives, including meetups, showcases, and user-generated content campaigns, to foster deeper relationships;
  • Manage the influencer and ambassador program, identifying and partnering with key voices in the contractor space to amplify our brand;
  • Lead Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Own Techo-Bloc’s social media strategy, driving growth, engagement, and brand loyalty;
  • Bring a swagger-filled brand voice to life across channels, creating content that’s bold, relatable, and highly shareable;
  • Keep a pulse on pop culture and industry trends, ensuring Techo-Bloc stays ahead of the curve;
  • Hire & train your own team to help you make the dream come true;
  • Content Creation & Collaboration

  • Lead the production of scroll-stopping content, working with the Video Content Creator and Creative Team to bring campaigns to life;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment across social, email, and digital channels;
  • Work closely with hardscape experts to produce educational and inspiring content that adds real value to contractors;
  • Community Building

  • Build and nurture a loyal contractor community, online and offline;
  • Actively engage with contractors, listen to their needs, and create content and experiences that make them feel part of something bigger;
  • Launch programs that celebrate and reward our most engaged followers, turning them into lifelong brand advocates;
  • Performance & Growth

  • Set measurable goals for social media and community growth, track key metrics, and continuously optimize based on insights;
  • Present progress and recommendations to senior leadership, always focusing on what’s next;
  • Experiment with new formats and platforms to drive engagement and stand out.
  • Qualifications

  • Please provide a portfolio showcasing your best work, including posts or campaigns that exceeded expectations, went viral, or effectively engaged an online community—whether from professional accounts or personal projects.
  • Curious & Industry-Driven : You have a genuine desire to immerse yourself in the world of landscape construction, learn how contractors work, and create content that truly speaks to them;
  • Culturally Savvy & Bold : You’re deeply connected to pop culture and know how to infuse it into brand storytelling in a way that resonates;
  • Community Builder : You understand how to foster loyalty and create real-world connections, both online and offline;
  • Strategic & Creative Leader : You can craft bold strategies while staying hands-on with execution;
  • Results-Oriented : You’re driven by outcomes and have a track record of growing engaged communities;
  • Experience : 5+ years in social media and community management, with proven success in scaling communities, managing influencer programs, and leading teams;
  • Collaborative Influencer : You know how to work with cross-functional teams, get buy-in from stakeholders, and inspire those around you;
