We are hiring two Logistic Coordinators for our team!

POSITION A : Trucking & POSITION B : Ocean and Air.

Each applicant will be considered for both if their experience aligns.

The Role

We are currently looking for our next TWO Logistics Coordinator to manage and grow our Carrier partnerships while working on our Operations team.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, you oversee the entire cycle of logistics from client request to delivery verification. We are looking for at least one of our candidates to want to journey into a management position in the near future.

What You’ll Do

  • Logistics Schedule : Consistent & proactive oversight of Cargo in Transit, matched to Required At Site (RAS) date and construction schedule adjustments thus reporting changes, delays or advancement of goods in transit or RAS to Transportation Analyst
  • Delivery Oversight : Coordinate place of delivery with Transportation Analyst, Warehouse and Materials Managers to ensure all verticals are informed
  • Scheduling : Daily monitoring and reporting of loads in transit, staged by location and status

while reporting anomalies & any delays

  • Cargo Register : Liaison with shippers to capture cargo details in advance of RAS date and enter all details in Cargo Register while issuing scheduled updates and advising our Transportation Analyst of anomalies or challenging cargo (dimensions, handling, TDG, etc.)
  • Container & Trailer Registers : daily monitoring and reporting of container & trailers in transit, staged by location and load / unload status. This includes reporting anomalies, delays and container / trailer statuses in transit
  • Customs & Intl Freight Requirements : Coordinate with our Transportation Analyst to ensure all customs and international freight documentation has been secured and approved per shipment
  • Documentation Tracking : Coordinate with our Transportation Analyst to ensure all transportation documentation (BOL, AWB, TDG, etc.) has been secured and approved per shipment

    • What You Offer

  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience (within the last two years) working in 3PL Industry within a similar role is a must with an expertise in :
  • Trucking (Position A)
  • Ocean & Air (Position B)
  • Proven track record of learning new systems, both procedural and technical, as well as approaching challenges proactively (We use Neosix)
  • Professional experience communicating and negotiating with clients, carriers and / or other 3PL partners
  • Ability to work in office 5 days a week at our HQ in Cambridge, ON
