What to expect as your main responsibilities :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented co-op student to assist in testing software, developing innovative validation and verification cases, and creating new types of quality assurance (QA) processes for our thermalflow simulation tools and systems.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct radiation testing on thermal-flow systems and components to ensure performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop comprehensive validation and verification cases for thermal and / or flow analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative QA methodologies.
- Support the design and implementation of new QA processes tailored to the needs of the Thermal Flow team’s projects.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports for both internal and client use.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technological advances related to thermal-flow and radiation testing.
You will be successful in this role if you :
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or related undergraduate program.
- Basic knowledge of radiation theory is an asset.
- Familiarity with thermal-flow simulations and analytical tools.
- Experience with simulation and CAD software (Ansys, Simcenter 3D, SolidWorks, etc.) is beneficial.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and technical writing abilities.
