Our renowned healthcare is seeking a Director, Employee and Labour Relations to join their growing team! The ideal candidate will have experience providing strategic guidance on legal compliance, risk mitigation, and navigating complex labor issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provides expert advice and guidance to support Senior Management to effectively resolve complex people management issues that may
require corrective action or progressive discipline.
- Investigates and presents strategic options and background information on key issues.
- Builds a high performing team ensuring optimized performance, development, recruitment, retention and resource allocation.
- Advises management and on negotiated contract changes and assist with strategic implementation.
- Manages sensitive public situations with the potential for significant impact on reputation.
- Ensures existing human resources policies, procedures, standards and practices that are consistent with the principles of fairness and equity and aligned to current legislative requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- A minimum 7-10 years of related and progressive experience, preferably in a hospital employee and labour relations management role.
- Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited educational
institution (e.g. human resources, industrial relations, LLB, etc.) preferred.
- Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Human Resources related legislation.
- Proven ability to effectively lead, manage and develop a team of HR professionals.
- Strong Excellent relationship building skills with both internal and external
stakeholders.
