This position is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic territory business plan, fostering strong partnerships with key opinion leaders, specialists, and healthcare professionals, and promoting HLS products and services to support optimal patient outcomes. By understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions, the Specialty Sales Representative ensures HLS’s commitment to improving patient care. The role requires continuous collaboration with cross-functional teams, maintaining in-depth knowledge of assigned products and therapeutic areas, and ensuring compliance with ethical and industry standards. Additionally, the Specialty Sales Representative will contribute to speaker identification, liaise with the Clinical team as needed, and provide insightful analysis on sales performance, medical education initiatives, and market opportunities.Territory - Alberta & SaskatchewanResponsibilitiesAchieve all territory business objectives including sales goals and growthPromote HLS product(s) and services with key opinion leaders, targeted specialists and healthcare professionalsKnow customers’ needs and deliver solutions that benefit patients, healthcare professionals and HLSDevelop, implement and execute a territory business planCommunicate and collaborate with all cross functional team members to ensure optimal alignment on business opportunities and prioritiesMaintain a current level of knowledge on assigned products and disease areasEnsure speaker identification and liaise with the Clinical team where appropriate to ensure developmentAnalyze and report on sales, Medical Education, monthly plans, call activity and budgetsAct as a role model for the HLS values & behaviours and ethical commercial practices (compliance to Innovative Medicines Canada, Code of conduct, etc.)Represent HLS as an innovative and ethical oriented company whose products and services respond accurately to the needs of patients and of the medical communityQualifications Minimum of 5 years related sales experience with a strong record of achievement. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital, specialty.
