It also means joining a stimulating workplace, full of professional challenges and the possibility to develop and grow. We are currently seeking a Digital Sculptor CAD Technician with a creative mind to bring our product designers' whimsical concepts to life. This role involves working with the CAD team to translate product design concept drawings into CAD that our model shop can use to create samples. The CAD and samples are then transferred to our engineering team in Hong Kong for manufacturing. In this role, you will report to the Head of Prototyping and Modeling. The ideal candidate will : Have strong design aesthetics and technical expertise.Be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.Be able to advance projects with minimal supervision. Responsibilities : Work with the CAD team to add sculpted CAD to solid modeled designs;Manage 3D CAD review process with product designers for finalizing designs;Collect product designer feedback from Renders and 3D printed models and translate back to CAD. Skills, Competencies & Requirements :  Industrial Design / Fine Arts degree or equivalent;Experience with Hard Surface Modeling and Organic Modeling is required;Proficiency with 3D sculpting software (FreeForm, ZBrush, Blender);Experience with retopology, moving files between mesh and surface / solid models; Experience with 3D modeling, and parametric design (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion360, Onshape) a plus;Practical Knowledge of additive manufacturing (3D printing) software, hardware and processes;Practical knowledge of design for manufacturing;Practical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes (injection molding, roto-molding, etc) and plastic materials (polypropylene, ABS, etc) is a plus;Excellent project management skills, ability to handle multiple projects in parallel and meet deadlines;Excellent knowledge of English to work with our external partners;Positive attitude and team player;Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator. Experience :  3+ years of relevant experience Proven experience with Sculpting based 3D modelingProven ability to effectively manage multiple projects Curious?
