About the Job

  • Provide strategic partnership to the Canada Retail organization with key focus on employee engagement, leadership development and driving a high-performance culture through talent management strategies and programs. Key clients include Retail Director, District / Area Managers and our Store leadership community.
  • Partner with our USCA HR team to build best practices across regions, including talent planning process, organizational design efforts to achieve business unit targets and milestones, partnership in the talent acquisition process from recruitment through onboarding, with a key focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Oversee Total Rewards programs for our Canada employee population, including communications, vendor partnership, absence management, and other country-level programs in partnership with the broader Canada HR team.
  • Maintain knowledge of provincial and federal employment requirements and best practices, ensuring regulatory compliance and partnering with our Total Rewards and Legal teams as needed.

About You

  • Proven track record in HR leadership with a strong understanding of talent management, engagement, leadership development and total rewards. Experience in a global retail organization providing Canada country-level support is a strong preference.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner strategically with business leaders to build successful culture and achieve common goals.
  • Experience with building and supporting total rewards programs.
  • Bachelor's degree and HR certification preferred.
  • This is a hybrid position based in our Markham, Ontario office. You will be expected in office 2 days per week, typically Tuesday-Wednesday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
