Our client, a major Oil and Gas client, is looking for an Integrity Specialist to join their team on a 1-year contract in Anzac, AB.ObjectivesThe Integrity Specialist will be responsible and accountable for the development and management of the Integrity Program for all non-ABSA regulated equipment on site.Design, implement, and oversee the Integrity Program, ensuring alignment with industry standards, regulations, and organizational goals.Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines for the inspection, maintenance, and assessment of equipment.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor program effectiveness and report progress to senior leadership.Success is Measured By : Increased reliability and reduced unplanned down time of equipment.Development of leading integrity indicators.Meeting and exceeding all LI annual safety targets.Working ConditionsOffice-based with regular site visits to operational facilities.Occasional travel to remote locations or vendor sites may be required.Exposure to industrial environments, requiring adherence to strict safety protocols.Technical Ensure routine and non-routine inspections are conducted on critical equipment, including pressure vessels, piping systems, tanks, and rotating machinery.Oversee the use of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, risk-based inspections, and condition-monitoring tools.Identify and address equipment deficiencies and potential failure points.Ensure all equipment complies with applicable codes, standards, and regulations (e.G., ASME, API, OSHA).Conduct risk assessments and prioritize equipment based on criticality, condition, and operational importance.Collaborate with safety and environmental teams to ensure equipment integrity supports health, safety, and environmental objectives.Business AcumenWork closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to align integrity activities with production goals.Act as the primary point of contact for external audits, regulatory inspections, and third-party assessments.Identify and implement new technologies and practices to improve equipment reliability and program efficiency.Analyze failure trends and recommend design improvements, operational changes, or replacement strategies.
