Work Location : Hybrid – A minimum of 2 days per week onsite

POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations and Real Estate Partnerships HR Divisional Office provides full cycle HR support to the following areas : Spaces & Experiences, Facilities & Services, University Planning, Design & Construction, Information Technology Services, Planning and Budget, and Real Estate.

This position will be responsible for providing support for a range of human resources services within OREP. Responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Director of Human Resources and the HR team, including scheduling, maintaining internal tracking spreadsheets, databases and file systems. This position is responsible for supporting the recruitment process such as screening applications, posting vacancies, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, etc., and other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Education :

University degree (completed or in progress) in a related discipline such Human Resources Management.

Experience :

  • Customer service and / or administrative support experience essential;
  • Experience within human resources is an asset

Skills :

  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated customer service skills
  • Strong written communication skills;
  • Excellent initiative with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as with a team
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office, strong skills in MS Excel
  • Experience using an HRIS system an asset
  • Other :

    Ability to meet strict deadlines and work effectively when there are multiple demands while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; shows initiative and the ability to exercise good judgment and maintain discretion and confidentiality.
