Responsibilities for Operations Manager

This role involves overseeing frontline guard and supervisor staff, providing managerial guidance, and fostering professional relationships. Key responsibilities include :

  • Providing performance feedback to the Regional Account Manager.
  • Ensuring compliance with uniform and licensing requirements for guards.
  • Conducting audits of access control systems and reporting to ensure client compliance.
  • Maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) annually.
  • Organizing emergency response training and monthly scenario testing for staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting performance.
  • Coordinating with internal GardaWorld departments.
  • Managing site schedules and filling shifts to ensure proper staffing coverage.

Qualifications for Operations Manager

The Operations Manager should possess the following skills :

  • Ability to foster a positive work environment and team atmosphere to achieve results.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience in team management.
  • Comfort with public speaking and client interactions.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and develop onsite personnel.
  • Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client-related access control systems.
  • Self-motivated and capable of leading an operational security team for a large national client
