AWS Cloud Engineer (Operations and Automation)

Looking for a hands-on senior AWS Cloud Engineer to help with Cloud Onboarding and Access Management project.

Location : Ontario (occasional travel to Toronto)

Duration : 6m contract with very possible extension

Domain : Finance / Insurance

Hours in Work Week : 37.5

Note : Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada legally, be local, and be Incorporated or have a Solo-proprietorship. Unfortunately, we cannot offer sponsorship or hire outside of Canada at this time or proceed with a T4.

Must-haves :

• Hands on-keyboard with 6+ years of Cloud Engineering experience
• Strong Identity and Access Management (IAM )
• Experience building and securing high availability applications using cloud native tools (Load balancers, Route 53, WAF, etc.)
• AWS Transit Gateway / Gateway Load Balancer (GWLB )
• Advanced programming / scripting languages ( Python, Perl, Java, Bash, Ruby )
• AWS services (S3, VPC, Cloud watch, SQS, SNS, EC2, FSx etc.) with comfort in AWS Serverless technologies (Lambda, Cognito, API Gateway)
• Configuration of AWS Cloud environment (IAM / setting rules / custom conditional based policies / trust relationships / building guard rails / Service Control Policy)
• CloudFormation
• Terraform
• Databases and data experience such as : PostgreSQL, Redis or similar
• Provisioning and configuration management experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes, or Cloud Native tools
• Strong communication / troubleshooting skills (customer-facing role)
• DevOps (CI / CD pipeline deployment and automation)
• Familiar with Agile

Having Pega GenAI experience and Security Clearance will be a great advantage
