Position : Finance DirectorLocation : MontrealAbout the Position : Reporting directly to the President, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational financial management of the company and its subsidiary. Working closely with the financial control teams, you will oversee all accounting and administrative processes, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and transparency in financial operations.Main Responsibilities : - Supervise all administrative and accounting services within the organization.- Ensure effective and accurate communication of financial information to stakeholders.- Manage treasury and tax-related matters.- Oversee the company's insurance management, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.- Prepare and analyze financial reports for senior management and produce consolidated financial statements.- Provide detailed budget forecasts, analyze variances, and propose corrective measures as needed.- Supervise the profitability and cost analysis of ongoing projects and operations.- Strategically manage and optimize cash flow.- Maintain compliance with public market regulations and construction licenses.- Negotiate with external auditors to ensure the accuracy of financial audits.- Participate in the strategic evaluation of potential acquisition opportunities.- Lead a high-performance team while maintaining a dynamic and harmonious work environment.Desired Profile : - Education : University degree in Accounting, CPA designation.- Experience : Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including strong expertise in project-based accounting, and ideally in the construction sector.Skills and Knowledge : - Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).- Knowledge of accounting software, SAP is a plus.- Experience in managing business acquisitions (a plus).Required Qualities : - Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop a team.- Organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.- Strategic and analytical vision with the ability to quickly grasp key issues.- Professional rigor and the ability to optimize financial processes.- Dynamism, professionalism, and excellent interpersonal skills.We are seeking a leader who can navigate a complex environment while maintaining a clear long-term vision.
