Junior Accountant / Bookeeper(Temporary position)

Volta Energy Solutions Canada, a leader in the copper foil production, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented junior accountant / bookkeeper to join our vibrant team on a temporary basis (3-6months). As a junior accountant / bookkeeper at Volta, you'll play a key role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to our mission of driving sustainable energy solutions. To fulfill the responsibilities and tasks associated to this position, you will also be called to work from both the offices of Brossard and the future factory in Granby.If you're eager to develop your accounting skills in a fast-paced environment and be part of a company committed to making a positive impact on the world, we want to hear from you!Role and responsibilities- Recording journal entries on SAP accounting system(based on IFRS) such as purchases,    expenses, invoices and payments- Making supporting documents in A / R, A / P- Using SAP FI module for expense document approval- Filing sales tax return with Revenue Quebec- Assisting with sales tax audit by local tax authority- Any other accounting-related tasksRequirements-College diploma in business Administration / Finance or in accounting (minimum requirement)- Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar position- Good knowledge of SAP is an asset but not required- Good knowledge of general accounting principles and IFRS is an asset but not required- Basic knowledge of Canada / Quebec tax lawWhat we offer you- Competitive salary and training- Great opportunity for future development and professional career advancement
