Job description

Employment opportunities for Rehabilitation Assistants in Acute Care, Long-term Care, and Home Health. Driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle is required.

Joining us in the Central Okanagan you’ll play a crucial part in carrying out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs in assisting Occupational Therapists in monitoring and evaluating patients / clients’ progression. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of the Rehabilitation Team, you’ll make a substantial contribution to the impact on progression of patient / client needs and their rehabilitation journey.

In this role, a Rehabilitation Assistant :

  • Is empowered to operate at the top of their scope.
  • Engages patients through consistent therapeutic interventions.
  • Drives substantial progress in meeting patient needs and their rehab journey.
  • Serves as an integral member of the rehabilitation team.
  • Is relied upon as the eyes and ears of the rehab team, ensuring comprehensive care.
