Job description

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Bilingual Lead Coordinator, Academic Program Management for a 3-month contract with its Ottawa-based customerWork LocationThe successful candidate will be required to work 3x / week on-site at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON (after 2 weeks training of 5x / week onsite)Key TasksSupport key program activities including recruitment, admissions, marketing and communication, event management, internship management, continual improvement, program accreditation and management of online platformsDesigns and produce program eventsForm and chair event planning committees, determine elements and timelines, monitor and report on progressDevelop event budgets and ensure activities stay within budget limitsPromote events to target audiences for maximum awareness and participationDesign and produces promotional materialWork with program team members, develop and implement program marketing strategies based on digital marketing best practices and trendsDevelop and implement an annual communications plan that meets communications needs for internal and external target audiences, contribute to the strategic plan and the section brandUnder the leadership of the program director, work to establish internship settings and support smooth running of internshipsWork with the program and Francophone Affairs teams, develop and implement innovative strategies for the program, to stimulate interest and awarenessAnticipate requirements and produce web content to meet ongoing business needs (in compliance with web and accessibility standards, official language requirements and established policies)Develop and assess performance indicators for website traffic and usability, coordinate improvements for maximum effectiveness of section websitesWork with internal teams and assist with management of program digital platformsKey QualificationsAdvanced French and English - verbal / written3+ years’ experience in event planning, program coordination, and marketingAdvanced skills using Outlook (emails; calendar); Word, Excel and setting meetings via Zoom. Must comprehend and learn other systems quicklyQualificationsBachelor’s degree in administration, communication or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experienceStrong skills in planning, customer service, teamwork and collaborationAdvanced skills in scheduling multiple events, multitaskingAdvance skills in problem solvingSelf-sufficient in coordinating work activitiesExcellent organizational skills, with ability to work well under pressure to meet firm deadlinesAbility to collaborate with a range of stakeholders and teamsExperience in project managementExcellent communications, interpersonal and problem-solving skillsExperience in marketing and communicationsProven initiative and autonomyAvailability to occasionally work evenings and weekendsExperience using computer systems and software, databases, email, the internet and social mediaAssetsExperience in a Canadian university environment with knowledge of its administrative processesExperience in the health-care environmentAbout LeverageTek Staffing SolutionsFounded in 2003, LeverageTek provides end-to-end, cross-functional staffing solutions throughout North America.
