Accounting Manager

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team in the Real Estate industry, based in North York, Ontario. As an Accounting Manager, your primary responsibilities will include managing the accounting functions, as well as financial analysis.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely completion
• Assist in closing books, including making necessary journal entries
• Maintain the general ledger accurately and update as necessary.
• Oversee the processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ensure accurate and timely accounting using QuickBooks
• Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations regularly
• Handle HST filing to comply with regulations
• Working towards a designation (CPA) is a nice to have.
• Must have completed an Accounting or Finance degree.
• Experience in conducting Month End Close activities is essential
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software is a must for this role
• Applicant must possess strong understanding and experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Candidate should be adept at performing Bank Reconciliations
• Fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience with General Ledger is necessary
