Job Summary
The Events Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of all key corporate events including Conferences, Tradeshows and Regional Meetings.
The Events Coordinator in partnership with the Events Specialist and Manager, Events will work with store leaders and all relevant support functions to deliver impactful and meaningful events.
This is a fast paced, dynamic role requiring the Events Coordinator to be a versatile multitasker who can work on a variety tasks
Essential Details and Responsibilities
- Create briefs, workback schedules, project plans, organizational and other standard tools used in the event industry.
- Support the Events team in developing event plans, concepts, themes, and designs.
- Responsible for the conference Trade Show and Sponsorship processing of forms, payments, invoicing, sponsorship deliverables including professional communication and coordination with sponsors & exhibitors.
- Support the database management and registration process and coordinate travel arrangements for events requiring transportation.
- Contribute to event budgets to ensure revenue and expenses are kept within established boundaries. Ensure timely reconciliation of all event invoices.
- Physical exertion required during event activations (lifting of up to 40lbs). Day to day work environment requires desk / laptop.
- Driver’s license and approximately 25% travel required.
Experience, Education, Certifications
- Experience in event planning; corporate event experience preferred.
- Experience in a corporate environment preferred.
- Experience in a retail environment.
- Professional maturity and the ability to keep calm and pleasant in stressful situations.
- Confidently manages complex assignments with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office : Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Applications : Reader and Photoshop a plus.
