Driver Requirements
- You're at least 25 years old
- Valid class 1, 2, or 4 commercial driver’s license
- 3 years driving history in Canada
- Proof of work eligibility
- Pass an annual driver screening, which reviews your driving history and criminal background check
- Any smartphone that can download and run the Lyft Driver app
- Depending on where you sign up to drive, you may be subject to additional requirements
Vehicle Requirements
- You have a 4-door from 2015 or newer
- 5-8 seats, including the driver's
- British Columbia license plate
- Not a taxi or stretch limousine
- Commercial Vehicle Inspection Report
- Car year may vary by region
