Role : Reporting to the Vice President, Canada, the Director, Business Analysis is responsible for leading the Business Analysis practice. He or she is responsible for defining strategy and managing a team of business analysts, and will participate in strategic project phases.
Your Day with Equisoft :
Lead and mentor a high-performance team of business analysts.Daily supervision of the business analysis team, including setting team strategy in alignment with corporate goals, one-on-one mentoring, team building, and problem and conflict management.Implement the processes, standards, and tools necessary to maintain and continuously improve the performance of the team.Organize training events (training, presentations, etc.) contributing to the acquisition of new knowledge and the development of expertise.Recruit and hire business analysts in alignment with the business strategy, ensuring onboarding and support.Evaluate and ensure that the performance of team members meets the objectives set and the expectations of management.Partner, communicate, and influence within the Equisoft organization on advocating and enhancing business analysis services.Support the sales and delivery of solutions to the insurance and financial services industry.Support the discovery, estimation, and Statement of Work (SOW) review for projects.Support the allocation of resources to Equisoft’s projects and initiatives.Act as a Principal Business Analyst to support client projects and internal initiatives.Provide expertise in new product and insurance process implementations.Participate in requirement discovery, process analysis, and implementation projects.Provide governance and escalation support for changes in scope, timelines, and overall delivery.Requirements : Technical :
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Business Analysis experience.Subject matter expertise in Life and Health insurance products and processes acquired over 10 years of relevant business experience.Experience with insurance policy administration systems and ability to quickly become proficient in Equisoft’s platforms.Demonstrated ability to understand a technical landscape.Interest in new technologies, such as AI, to enhance efficiency.Mastery of English and French; Spanish is an asset.Soft Skills :
