Lift Auto Group’s  Corporate office on-site in  Kelowna, BC  is hiring. We have an exciting opportunity for a  Payroll Administrator  to join our team. This role is vital to ensuring excellence in payroll management and providing support to the corporate office and our locations across Canada whilst meeting the highest quality standards in our journey to become Canada’s leading collision repair brand. With 56 locations across Canada and counting, the ideal candidate displays a can-do attitude and the energy to hit-the-ground running.

WHAT YOU DO

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for best-in-class services that assist with the strategic initiatives of the company, you will be responsible for :

Payroll

  • Preparation and processing of hourly, flat rate / commission and salaried payroll (semi-monthly and monthly) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work closely with Location Managers and HR to ensure accuracy of payroll.
  • Maintaining ADP payroll employment records as employee life cycle changes.
  • Calculation of taxable benefits relating to vehicles and insurance.
  • Preparation of Records of Employment, T4s and any other documents as required.
  • A strong knowledge and application of provincial employment standards and payroll legislation.
  • Assist in resolving issues / concerns or direct them to the appropriate resource.
  • Prepare various financial and payroll reports through ADP.
  • Providing timely answers to payroll inquiries.
  • Understands, safeguards and adheres to company processes.
  • Other

  • Produce monthly reports as required.
  • Provide support to the finance team with payroll reconciliations and schedules.
  • Ability to multitask to meet various deadlines.
  • Process expense reports.
  • Other duties / special projects, as required by the business or as directed by the Payroll Manager.
  • Requirements

    WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft applications; exceptional understanding of Excel and experience in Word and Outlook
  • Experience using ADP Workforce Now is an advantage
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification, preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered
