Position Summary

River Rock Casino Resort is currently recruiting for a customer service individual who will be responsible in maintaining the Pool and Health Club. Ensuring guests have a safe and enjoyable aquatic and exercise experience.

Other Duties and responsibilities for our Pool Attendant will include :

  • Greets guests and orients them to the facilities
  • Issues towels to guests
  • Is aware of how many guests are in the pool and ensures all rules are being observed
  • Maintains a clean area in both the pool and health club. Identifies and is aware of all chemicals related to pool operations and maintenance. Reports deficiencies to the Manager, Front Office
  • Vacuums the pool on a pre-determined schedule
  • Is responsible for the cleaning, folding and stocking towels in the pool area
  • Secures & opens the patio area ensuring all patio furniture is clean and properly placed
  • Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees)
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at one time
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Competent swimmer
  • Interest in health and fitness an asset
  • Ability to provide leadership in a team environment and motivating, developing, and sharing in the successes of the team
  • Possess a high level of honesty and integrity
  • Serving It Right Certification or the ability to achieve a Serving It Right Certification
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
  • A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guests
