About the role

Our Security Remediation team is growingand looking for a MacOS Specialist to join a very talented team. Our team's role is to ensure a strong security posture of our endpoints and virtual environments, proactively reduce and eliminate risks and support a strong cybersecurity culture and governance for Intact. You will have the opportunity to work with specialized and dedicated colleagues to shape the future of our company with a strong knowledge, attention to detail, structure and innovative mindset, leveraging current and emerging technologies. You will also be called upon to offer support and guidance to our other IT teams.

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced MacOS Specialist to join our IT Security Remediation team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in JAMF product management and administration, a solid experience in configuring security policies and application deployment, as well as optimizing desktop security practices, troubleshooting and posture.

What you'll do here :

JAMF Administration : Participate in the management and administration of the JAMF management platform

Deployment and configuration : Package and deploy applications. Configure and deploy compliant policies to workstations. Automation of deployment processes.

Evaluate workstations for compliance and safety.Plan, design and implement workstation-related projects

Performance optimization : Optimize the performance of the JAMF system, as well as workstations to ensure an optimal and secure user experience.

Security : Ensure the security of the JAMF infrastructure. Deploy and maintain workstation security standards according to industry best practices or company security standards.

Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation of the JAMF environment and workstations

Training and mentoring : Train and mentor junior members of the IT team on best practices and technologies.

Collaboration : Work closely with development, network and security teams to ensure the integration and harmonization of workstations in the IT ecosystem.

Technical support : May be called upon to provide advanced technical support and resolve complex issues related to the MacOS environment, including Level 3 incidents.

What you bring to the table :

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role as a systems specialist or administrator

Mastery of JAMF, Active Directory, AppStore. Excellent knowledge of MacOS operating systems. Knowledge of scripting (e.g. PowerShell, etc.).

Assets : Knowledg.nment etc. Knowledge of Windows and iOS is an asset.

Certifications : JAMF certification required.

Ability to analyze and solve complex problems effectively and efficiently.

Excellent communication skills, ability to explain and popularize technical concepts.

Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different departments.

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
