You are an Art Director, Social with a passion for bringing brands to life through crafting innovative and compelling social-first creative solutions. As the Art Director, Social you will be the subject matter expert and have a deep knowledge of how to help brands engage with consumers in the space.

About the role :

Your obsession with Social makes you committed to understanding trends and behaviors that will create an impactful presence for our clients as well as identify opportunities for social content that will help them stand out in the ever-changing landscapes. You can both lead ideation and support the execution of content that drives meaningful audience impact and spurs community interaction.

As an Art Director, Social, you will be responsible for concept ideation through to execution of social content on a range of platforms including, TikTok, Pinterest, Meta, and more. You’ll work with a broader team including other creatives, social media strategists, producers, content creators and account leads. You’ll be part of an agile social team that is always on the hunt for inspiration in the world, culture, and on the internet to find the next opportunity for a breakthrough social content.

You are impeccably organized and able to manage multiple projects at once. You are a creative thinker with an emphasis on strong content expression and are confident in providing creative solutions to effectively improve our clients’ social media content. Your high-quality art direction, layout, and design skills, as well as your creative aptitude, ensure the delivery of polished social first work.

Responsibilities :

  • Working from a creative brief you will be responsible for concepting social post ideas and leading the art direction for various Social platforms including Tiktok, Pinterest, Meta and more.
  • You will confidently share work via written decks and presentation
  • You will understand the needs, motivations and aspirations of our clients and social audiences, so that you can speak to them in the most effective, compelling, and engaging way possible
  • Proficiency in layout and design for social media
  • Proactively look for and bring forward opportunities for our clients to participate in social conversations - identify social trends, moments, that they can participate in.
  • Collaborate with all members of the social team to collectively and efficiently bring content to life - as a team you’ll “own” the agencies social output
  • Present work to the Director of Social Creative, Account Services team members and clients with effective delivery
  • Responsible for daily deliverables in fast-paced environment with lots of client interaction, shoots and evolving timelines

Qualifications :

  • 4+ years experience in an agency environment
  • Excellent portfolio of work that demonstrates high-quality art direction and design within a variety of social media campaigns including both paid and organic.
  • Undeniable creative chops : you play a critical role in the conceptual phase of projects, and work seamlessly with your team to deliver social first work
  • Ability to translate an idea effectively and flawlessly across multiple messaging touchpoints
  • Strong understanding of creating for the social space, platform best practices and the use of social templates.
  • Experience in creative ideation to execution keeping in mind cultural awareness and diversity
  • Ability to gracefully handle pressure and meet tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and opportunities with acute attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, organizational, verbal, and written communications skills - comfortable with presenting to groups
  • A love of collaborating with your team members – creative directors, PMs / producers, copywriters, illustrators, designers, coders – to consistently deliver polished, social first work
