This position will serve as the primary point of contact for all areas of account management for our customers in the region as well as continued growth through developing new business through new customers and expanded product line offerings.

The position will also be responsible for effectively communicating and collaborating with locl technical support staff as well as corporate engineering, coordination and manufacturing departments to further support of our customers as we well as the internal sales efforts throughout the region.

This position will be directly accountable to the L&H Canada General Manager.

  • Conduct all job activities with an unwavering commitment to the safety of our employees and our customers.
  • Develop, implement and execute plans to strategically acquire and grow new customers in the Oil Sands region.
  • Oversee all sales and account management duties for all customers located in the region including but not limited to the following activities : Provide direct (both emote and onsite) sales and production support to customers throughout the Fort McMurray region.

Support will include daily interactions with a wide array of staff at the customer level (Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Administration and Management).

Build and maintain strong working relationships with Customers with the commitment to always represent L&H core values.Laisse between customers and various internal personnel and departments (Local Technical Support, Inside Job Coordinator, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing and Management) to ensure customer requirements are met regarding quotations, proposals, deliveries, payments and warranty returns.

Manage annual sales projection budgets and provide regular updates regarding performance.Manage existing and negotiate new contracts with new and existing customers.

In conjunction with Technical Support Staff, monitor performance of components through component audits and inspections and create detailed and accurate audit reports to be delivered to the customer in a timely manner to support the customers planning for and risk mitigation of components running on their equipment.

Support L&H Field Service personnel in the planning, mobilization and execution of onsite service work for machine outages.

Assist with the planning, organization, development and implementation of new product designs and enhancements based on field performance, existing designs and customer feedback.

Assist engineering and marketing efforts in the development of competitive product, offerings, proposals and quotations as well as new customer engagement efforts at the regional level.

Manage local inventory of spare parts by conducting regular audits in conjunction with our contracted warehousing agent.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications specifically Teams, Excel, Work, Outlook, Projects and Power Point
  • Aptitude to utilize precision measurement equipment for the purpose of auditing components as well as reverse engineering

Experience and other Requirements of the Job

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer facing Sales / Technical Support / Customer Service / Marketing role
  • Experience with fixed and mobile mining equipment
  • Preferred OSSA CSTS / BSO and other OSSA credentials
