Proven experience maintaining small engine, hydraulic systems, and landscaping equipment. A Journeyman License is ideal but not mandatory. Ability to adapt and shift priorities based on equipment needs and break downs.
We are seeking a Small Engine Mechanic / Technician for immediate hire in Port Carling, Ontario. This is a fleet repair position maintaining lawn and turf equipment. If you are looking to work on a variety of machinery and equipment this is the role for you as no one day will be the same. We are ideally seeking a licensed A mechanic / technician with experience maintaining landscaping equipment. However, a background with small engine and hydraulic repair is acceptable as training can be provided. This is a full time year round position with a good team environment.
The Essentials :
- Maintaining a variety of mowers, tractors, small engine, and landscaping equipment along with some facility maintenance.
- Equipment fabrication and modification.
- Use of metal lathe and milling machines.
- Day shift, 8 hours, 40-44 hour work weeks.
