Our client a recognizedboutique CPA Public Accounting Firm is hiring a Bookkeeper to join their growing Miltonoffice.

Whois our client Our client is made up of a dynamic andprofessional team providing a wide range of accounting servicesfrom audits and review engagements to personal income tax returnsand compilations from payroll to bookkeeping they do it all! Theywork hard for their clients small to mediumsized businesses in avariety of industries andlocations.

Whoare you An experienced bookkeeper with exceptionalorganizational skills handling a wide range of tasks concurrentlyand effectively.

You are a selfstarter with excellent communicationskills. Working in an everchanging environment is something youthrive on as there is always something to learn.

Salary : $55000 $65000 per year (depending uponexperience)

Hoursof Work :

Monday toFriday 9 : 00am 5 : 00pm(FullTime)

  • Fullservice bookkeeping both internally and on behalf of a wide rangeof clients.
  • Accurately record andmaintain financial transactions in Quickbooks and other software asapplicable
  • Prepare and reconcilebank statements general ledgers and balancesheets.
  • Ensure accurate and timelyprocessing of accounts payables and accountsreceivables.
  • Perform monthly andyearend closing procedures.
  • Assistin the preparation of financial statements andreports.
  • Conduct periodic audits toverify accuracy of financialreports.
  • Provide exceptionalcustomer service by responding to client inquiries and resolvingany accountingrelatedissues.
  • Document anddata retrieval asrequired.
  • Generaloffice management assistance including data entry filing paperworkfinancial statement assembly among othertasks.
  • Exposureto an expanding range of tasks including T1 and T2setc.

Requirements

  • 2years of experience in fullcycle bookkeeping andpayroll.
  • 12 years of personal taxpreparation experience
  • Collegediploma / certificate in Accounting or Bookkeeping is anasset.
  • Experience withQuickbooks and CaseWare is anasset.
  • Mustbe familiar with payroll regulations WSIB and EHT filings as wellas HSTfilings.
  • Exposureto personal income tax returns is important although notnecessarily anexpert.
  • Ability toanalyze accurately and reconcileaccounts.
  • Excellentcommunication skills (written verbal interpersonal andpresentation) with a strong command of the Englishlanguage.
  • An exceptional attentionto detail taking pride in careful accuratework.
  • Abilityto work well under pressure.
  • Abilityto work overtime when necessary and flexibility to work withchangingpriorities.

2+years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll. 1-2years of personal tax preparation experience Collegediploma / certificate in Accounting or Bookkeeping is an asset.

Experience with Quickbooks and CaseWare is an asset. Must befamiliar with payroll regulations, WSIB, and EHT filings, as wellas HST filings.

Exposure to personal income tax returns isimportant, although not necessarily an expert. Ability to analyzeaccurately and reconcile accounts.

Excellent communication skills(written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation) with a strongcommand of the English language.

An exceptional attention todetail, taking pride in careful, accurate work. Ability to workwell under pressure. Ability to work overtime when necessary andflexibility to work with changingpriorities.
