A significant requirement for this position is to maintain lab operations during weekends. This position will have a shifted schedule that covers weekends.

The successful candidate will be detail oriented, dedicated, and passionate about their work. The position will also require proper documentation of the results, being well organized and flexibility in working with other members of the team.

  • Maintain cell stocks and freezer inventories.
  • Prepare, label and make aliquots of common lab reagents.

  • Collect samples and perform basic molecular characterization (e.g., RNA purification, PCR, immunostaining).
  • Adhere to all applicable SOP’s, safety and good laboratory practices.
  • Collaborate with senior scientists on assay development.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in life sciences, cell biology, biotechnology, or a related field.

  • Ability to work on weekends.
  • Bioreactor experience.
  • Preferred

  • Demonstrated molecular characterization experience.
  • Familiarity with statistical computing (e.g., R, Python) and command-line tools.
