Role Description

The Program Manager & Solution Adoption Lead, Operational Excellence is a key role in the management and successful delivery of programs and technologies that span across the Canadian managed real estate portfolio. This role will engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders to effectively develop, deploy and drive business adoption of innovative programs designed to transform QuadReal's operating model and deliver significant value to the company and its clients. The Program Manager will interface with various groups, across real estate types (e.g. office, multi-family, retail, residential) - including senior leadership, sponsors, property & operations teams, communications, external vendors, technical subject matter experts, steering committees, change management leaders, and several others. The overall goal of the Program Manager is to ensure that every identified program is successfully deployed and implemented, in a repeatable manner, with a framework for ongoing training, support, measurement and governance.

This position can be located in Toronto or Vancouver

Responsibilities

  • Align with business leaders in various functional areas to identify and prioritize key programs for deployment and implementation
  • Develop and present detailed project plans, charting deliverables and milestones, for all programs across the Operational Excellence platform
  • Monitor multiple programs and report status' & plans to leadership team
  • Create and implement program management framework for repeatable and scalable deployments
  • Create and implement post-deployment training, on-going support, program measurement and governance plan to be applied to all initiatives
  • Lead programs through all stages of deployment - including developing / managing the project management process, securing various approvals, identifying project priorities, managing budgets, engaging with various affected stakeholders, aligning with communications teams, and delivering the desired end goal on-time and on-budget
  • Coordinate and lead / facilitate various meetings and workshops with leadership teams, steering committees, front-line employees, vendors and others as required - all in alignment with the overall project and engagement strategy
  • Coordinate resources internally and externally to deliver on program requirements
  • Successfully manage internal relationships between multiple parties, engaging change management leaders to ensure appropriate sponsorship and support is gained at all management / front-line levels
  • Actively manage vendors to ensure their delivery of contract obligations to agreed timelines, scope, budget
  • Constantly monitor and document potential program risks that could impact success and be prepared to take corrective action
  • Proactively communicate to stakeholders on project decisions and progress, providing accurate and timely reporting on program status as required
  • Lead transition from program implementation to operationalized state through implementation of training, support, measurement and governance framework
  • Perform post-mortem reviews of programs for continuous improvement of implementation and post-implementation frameworks

  • Positive and collaborative problem solving attitude, with an ability to manage multiple points of view while adhering to a single objective
  • 5-7 years of Program Management experience working with senior level stakeholders
  • Commercial real estate management and / or development experience an asset
  • Experience with change management best practices an asset
