Job Title : Informatica developer (Informatica MDM Mandatory)Location : Winnipeg / TorontoDuration : Long TermJob Opening : Who are we looking for?Seeking a Junior-mid level developer with expertise in Informatica MDM to join our team. The Individual should have strongunderstanding of data management principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to implement and monitor datagovernance policies.Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and implement Informatica MDM solutions to support master data management (MDM) initiatives.Develop and optimize data models and entity relationships within the MDM platform.Implement ETL processes to integrate data from various source systems into the MDM hub using Informatica PowerCenter or other ETL tools.Establish and monitor data quality metrics, perform data quality assessments, and coordinate data cleansing activities with in Informatica MDM.Configure match rules and survivorship strategies to ensure accurate master data consolidation.Design and implement logic for duplicate identification and record merging in line with business policies.Collaborate with data stewards and stakeholders across the organization to define data ownership, data definitions, and data lineage.Ensure compliance with data-related regulations, standards and manage data access controls to protect sensitive information.Build, maintain and enhance the data catalog and metadata repositories, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation of data assets.Identify, track, and resolve data governance issues, including data discrepancies, data integration challenges, and data quality problems.Continuously evaluate and improve data governance processes and tools to enhance data management capabilities.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.Proficiency in Informatica MDM and other Informatica tools.Experience with database technologies and data warehousing solutions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.High attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively.
