My name is Romane, recruitment and business development advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in the recruitment of finance professions. I work on two types of recruitment : temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of financial experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll professions.

I am looking for a financial controller for my client with one teleworking day per week in Saint-Hyacinthe in the food sector.

What does this role consist of :

Determine milk payments and perform periodic analyzes of

  • commodity yields and performance indicators;

Develop and analyze the cost price of the factory (variable costs and overheads

  • fixed);
  • Participate in month-end closing activities in collaboration with the analyst

  • to operations and the clerk;
  • Prepare the manufacturing budget in collaboration with the teams

  • operational;
  • Support the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • to identify optimization opportunities;
  • Provide recommendations based on financial analyzes to reduce

  • costs and improve productivity;
  • Supervise and guide the operations analyst and the plant clerk;
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and drive initiatives

    optimization of financial processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration (BAA), accounting or finance;
  • Completed CPA title or relevant experience (2 to 3 years);
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (proficiency in pivot tables,

  • advanced formulas; Power Query is an asset);
  • Experience in financial analysis and budget management in an environment

  • manufacturer;
  • Positive leadership and ability to build high-performance teams;
  • Excellent communication and customer orientation;
  • Analytical mind and proactive approach to challenges;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Hybrid flexibility in person 80%, teleworking 20%;
  • Frequent collaboration with plant analysts across Canada.
