Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and detail oriented HMGP Control Room Operator to oversee the operation, monitoring, and control of facility systems from the control room on a contract position for our client in Lloydminster, SK. This role ensures efficient and safe operations while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company standards. Ideally, you will have strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to respond effectively to changing operational conditions.

  • Location : Lloydminster, SK
  • Shift : Rotating Day & Night Schedule : 5 days on 4 days off.
  • Job type : Temporary | Full-time | 1-year contract

  • Responsibilities :

  • The ability to remotely control and operate pipeline facilities including terminals and Lease Automatic Custody Transfer (LACT) stations utilizing SCADA and Leak Detection systems.
  • Follow the Superintendents Expectations for Control Room Operations.
  • Working collaboratively with the midstream team, Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and SCADA Technicians.
  • Strong Communication skills, Clear speech, good hearing, and a professional telephone manner
  • Calm and reassuring under pressure.
  • Deal with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Polite, friendly, efficient, and helpful attitude.
  • Able to Prioritize situations and tasks.
  • Solve problems and make informed decisions.
  • Maintain and organize written documents and records.
  • Keyboard and IT skills.
  • Work on your own and as part of a team.
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Follow set procedures and deal with emergency / abnormal con ditions
  • Qualifications :

  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • A bility to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrated self-motivation and inclination to accept increased operational responsibilities
  • Excellent computer skills including experience and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and SAP
  • Must possess at least one of the following certifications :
  • o Gas Process Operator (GPO) certificate

    o Production Field Operator (PFO) certificate

    o Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering certificate

    o Journeyman tradesperson

  • Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License
  • Completion of Engineering technology diploma would be an asset
