We have established an excellent track record of successful projects for a wide spectrum of planning and design commissions across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories. Located in downtown Edmonton, our open studio reflects a diverse group of staff. Led by 3 principals, the Firm consists of highly specialized team members including architects, technologists, interior designers, LEED specialists, graphic designers, marketers, and support staff.

As a member of the Workun Garrick team you will :

Work from conceptual design to the detailed preparation of final construction drawings.

Evaluate and assimilate design changes introduced by the project architect or interior designer.

Coordinate architectural drawings with the work of consulting engineers.

Draft, administer contracts, and detail.

Resolve technical issues on site.

Oversee client relationships and communications.

Assist with coordination through all phases of projects.

Requirements :

Diploma in Architectural Technology.

SketchUp is an asset.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

LEED AP accreditation and experience on LEED Certified projects is an asset.

A minimum of 5-10 years experience is preferred.

Assist in mentoring junior architectural technologists.

Ability to lead projects with minimal supervision, coordinate consultants and work directly with clients.

Self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects, priorities, and workflows.

Strong attention to detail and dedication to projects from start to finish.
