Summer Camp Counsellor Positions

About Camp Branches : We are an outdoor wilderness & adventure camp for children 4-12 years old.We're looking for 2-4 candidates that are responsible, caring, and dedicated to working with children.The Camp Counsellor will supervise groups of children and will be responsible for their well-being, as well as lead various activities such as sports or games. The ideal candidate should enjoy being around children, have a good attitude, energy and enthusiasm, enjoy sports / games and take initiative and be a team player. Previous experience in camp supervision or working / serving with children is an asset.Please note : Only successful candidates will receive a follow-up.Responsibilities : Create lessons plans / schedules for programmingSupervise childrenBe a good role model for childrenReport and liaise with Camp DirectorWork well with teamComplete required trainingAbility to work outdoorsAbility to commuteQualifications : Experience working with children aged 4-12High school diplomaBackground knowledge and experience in sportsCurrent Vulnerable Sector CheckStandard First aid and CPR C certificationStrong communication skillsPay : $19 / hour Schedule : 7.5 hour shift (6.5 hours with 1 hour lunch break)Day shift : 8 : 30-4 : 00pm, Monday to FridayJob Type : Seasonal Contract length : 3 weeksIf you are interested in the position, please submit your resume to [email protected] no later than April 30th 2025.
