The primary assignment will be within the Renewable Resource Management (RRM), Environmental Assessment & Restoration (EAR), Natural Resource Compliance (NRC), and the Bachelor of Ecosystem Management (ECM) programs. Responsibilities will include :

RRM-2264 Forest Management : A strong background in forest ecology is required along with experience in timber operations and planning, as well as silviculture. Technical field experience in dendrology, tree measurement, forest inventory and timber harvest planning and operations are a must.
RRM-2299 Fire Management : A strong background in fire weather, fire behaviour, wildfire operations, fire ecology, and prescribed fire management would be required. Application of the Fire Weather Index (FWI) and Fire Behaviour Prediction (FBP) Systems would be an important asset.
RRM-2250 Grassland and Forest Resources : This is a team-taught course where the successful candidate would be responsible for delivering the forestry outcomes specific to this course in a compressed format.
