The City of Penticton's Fire Services Department is in search of highly skilled and energetic individuals to become members of the Penticton Fire Department Inspection Staff . The successful incumbents will be dynamic forward-thinking individuals that have strong organizational skills, can work independently, have sound decision-making and problem-solving skills, and are willing to lead and champion change in our diverse and exciting work environment.

Steps to Submit Your Expression of Interest
Submit your EOI by applying online on the City of Penticton's intranet, Grapevine, to Job Openings (Note : not on the external City of Penticton website) and attach your typed document to your profile. The EOI will be addressed to the Deputy Fire Chief and describe the reasons why you would want to work within the Penticton Fire Department Inspection Staff. The EOI is a maximum of 500 typed words on one page.

If accepted, you would then enroll in courses that are recognized as required by the Penticton Fire Department Inspection Staff career track. Note : Courses taken within the Penticton Fire Department Inspection Staff career track will not permit any "bumping" into the Penticton Fire Department Officer career track as it is done by seniority only.
