The Regional Investigative Services Team Computer Crime Unit is currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Video Analyst. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our service's evolving audio-visual and computer multi-media technical support and provide expert advice to all units of the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) in the operation of software, hardware, and equipment. As a key team member, you’ll collaborate with skilled investigators, where you will contribute to the implementation of cutting-edge initiatives that empower our strategic units to revolutionize the way policing utilizes next-generation technical support solutions. About the Role – How you will Contribute to the Service :
This role will be responsible for providing audio-visual and computer multi-media technical support and advice to all units of the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS). The Video Analyst is trained to use specialized forensic software to analyze, process, enhance, and maintain multimedia evidence for criminal investigations and court testimony. This position is required to attend crime scenes or relevant locations where video systems exist to gather video evidence for Police use.

Salary Range : $ 77,844 -$85,541 per annum
