Responsibilities
In this Accounting Specialist role in Downtown Toronto, you will have the following benefits :
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
- Process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely collections
- Utilize Salesforce to manage financial data and client accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Collaborate with the events team to ensure accurate financial tracking of event budgets
- Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
We are looking for the following for this Accounting Specialist role located in Downtown Toronto :
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is required.
- A post-graduate diploma or degree in either business administration or accounting is required.
- Experience using Salesforce is required.
- Experience working within the hospitality / events / entertainment industries is required.
- Strong communication is required for this role.
