They specialize in servicing sectors including government, healthcare, commercial, and industrial.Your new roleAs the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be reporting directly into the Operations Manager. Your team will consist of 5 electricians & maintenance staff. Along with reviewing your teams work and ensuring their work is being delivered to par, you will be responsible for ensuring electronic systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently. You will also be responsible for the oversight of any electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have their FSR B and be a 4th Class Power Engineer. They will have an extensive background in facilities management. Responsibilities include : Supervise maintenance staff, conduct performance reviews, create career development plans, develop training programs.Maintain work schedules for staff ensuring they align with project schedules.Ensure projects progress according to project schedule & budget.Oversee start up, shut down, commissioning, and maintenance, of equipment and systems.Provide niche expertise for minor projects and project documentation.Ensure safety and QA / QC is compliant with company and regional requirements.What you'll need to succeedDemonstrated experience in a leadership position within the facilities / operations space.5+ years working in an operations / facilities / maintenance role with emphasis on electrical systems.Class B FSR (Field Safety Representative)4th Class Power Engineering Certificate Experience with High voltage (HV) Systems, HVAC systems, building maintenance systems, fire alarms, access control, elevator and CCVE.Ability to read and interpret drawings, project specs, and control diagrams.What you'll get in returnSalary : up to $115,000 experience dependentDiscretionary bonus3 weeks vacationRRSP matching.Extended benefits.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to or email your resume to this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career.
