Dilawri Group of Companies - Ontario Region is now actively searching for a Human Resources Administrator to join the team.

This opportunity is on site at our 401 Dixie Volkswagen location in Mississauga.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Human Resources Administrator to join our team. Under the supervision of the Regional Human Resources Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department and dealership management teams by maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents, and updating internal databases. This position is best suited for a new graduate who is looking to get their foot in the door with Human Resources and apply what they have studied in a dynamic workplace environment. Responsibilities :

  • Organize and maintain personnel records, ensuring accurate and timely updates in HR4.
  • Update internal databases with active / terminated employee dates and leaves of absence.
  • Provide relevant employee updates to the payroll department.
  • Prepare employment contracts and change forms.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparing new hire plans in HR4 and sending welcome emails.
  • Administer the Employee Background Check process and manage the exit interview process for resignations.
  • Manage enrollment and updates for the benefit and pension plans with Canada Life.
  • Provide controllers with a monthly benefits administration list and ensure all original documents are filed appropriately.
  • Participate in HR projects and events and manage HRIS software to reflect the most up-to-date information.

Qualifications :

  • Recent graduate with a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with HR systems (HRIS) and proficiency with HR4 is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
