We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer , who will report to the Global Head of Procurement and Logistics , and who’ll be ensuring that strategic suppliers meet the organization's quality, reliability, and performance standards. As part of your role, you’ll be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

An overview of your responsibilities :

Supplier Quality Assurance & Auditing

  • Conduct process and product audits at key strategic supplier sites to ensure compliance with company requirements, and industry regulations
  • Evaluate supplier manufacturing processes to identify risks, recommend improvements, and validate corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain audit schedules, reports, and follow-ups for continuous supplier performance improvement
  • Ensure adherence to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements

Performance Monitoring & Improvement

  • Define and track supplier performance metrics, including defect rates, delivery timelines, and adherence to specifications
  • Analyze non-conformances and collaborate with suppliers to develop effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction without compromising quality
  • Supplier Development & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the key point of contact between suppliers and internal stakeholders for quality-related issues
  • Lead supplier quality reviews and provide technical support during critical problem-solving activities
  • Partner with suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain supplier quality documentation, including audit reports, non-conformance reports, and supplier qualification records
  • Ensure supplier compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in supplier qualification and onboarding processes, including risk assessments and capacity evaluations

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 5-10 years of experience in supplier quality engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain roles
  • Comfortable with frequent travel ; domestic and international (50%)
  • Proven experience conducting process audits and evaluating supplier capabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or IATF 16949)
  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
