Director of Finance And Accounting

Our client, a multi-faceted, community-focused non-profit organization is seeking a Director of Finance & IT, who will oversee a staff team of two to manage all finance and accounting functions for the organization.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and oversee the annual budget process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Prepare and present monthly and annual financial statements for leadership, the Board of Directors, and funding partners.Oversee all banking and act as lead liaison.Monitor cash flow and forecasting, ensuring the organization meets operational and programmatic needs.Lead the preparation of the annual audit and tax return.Optimize financial processes and systems, leveraging your IT and technology expertise.Provide financial analysis and strategic insight to inform organizational decision-making and long-term planning.Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team on financial strategy, sustainability, and program investment.Serve as a financial advisor to the Board of Directors, including presenting financial updates and trends.QualificationsCPA5+ years working in the public sector with a non profit organization & familiarity with ASNPO reporting standardsStrong communication, low ego, ability to work with multiple department leaders, approachable, and self sufficientExperience managing budgets of $7 million+
