Overview :

Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the CNC Programmer / Operator is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to manufacture high-quality components. They work closely with engineers, machinists, and quality control teams to optimize machining accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities :

Create and optimize CNC programs using CAD / CAM software.

Translate technical drawings and 3D models into CNC machine instructions.

Select the most efficient machining operations, tooling, and setup parameters.

Install tools, fixtures, and adjust CNC machine settings.

Perform test runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure part accuracy.

Monitor machining processes and troubleshoot issues in real time.

Collaborate with the quality team to ensure compliance with industry standards and tolerances.

Document machining parameters and suggest improvements to enhance productivity.

Requirements :

Diploma or training in machining techniques or CNC programming.

Experience with CAD / CAM software and CNC G-code programming.

Strong knowledge of machining processes, materials, and cutting tools.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Hands-on experience with CNC lathes, milling machines, or machining centers.
