Hardware Lab Technician

Role : Hardware Lab TechnicianLocation : Montreal, QuebecDuration : Contract JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsibilities 1. Periodic calibration of equipment and test benches. 2. Maintenance of hydraulic networks. 3. Troubleshooting issues on electronic boards and wiring. 4. Execution of ATP for critical computer boards. 5. Modification of electronic boards (Soldering, proposing wire rerouting). 6. Management of the maintenance workshop and organization of measurement equipment. 7. Management of outsourced maintenance. 8. Instruction of site ESD rules. 9. Manufacture of simple harnesses. 10. Repair / modification of harnesses. 11. Isolate interconnection problems within complex wiring. 12. Ensure laboratories and their equipment are always safe and operational. 13. Represent the R&D department in the Hygiene, Safety, and Environment (HSE) committee. Output Elements Expected : 1. Produce technical drawings for the manufacture of test bench components. 2. Assemble, integrate, and test new test benches. 3. Pass ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and AS9100 audits. Skills Required : 1. 2D and 3D Technical Drawings. 2. Basic programming in a popular language. 3. Knowledge of Windows operating systems. 4. Intermediate level of French. 5. Basic level of English. 6. 5 years of experience as a technician. 7. Ability to work autonomously. 8.
